Job Description :
We are looking for an Industrial designer as an intern for our R&D team in Chennai, India for a period of 6 months from April/May 2021.
The opportunity:
You will have the opportunity to create a complete range of kitchen appliances for the Indian market. You will be involved in the complete process of product development from start to finish:
consumer research, ideation, conceptualization, prototyping, CMF, visualization through to product launch. You will be in close collaboration with the engineering department to bring your ideas into reality and create innovative products.
Our expectations:
You are a talented industrial design student or recent graduate looking to make your first step into the industry. An open mind, curiosity to discover a new environment and a driven personality are all essential.
Please note: Candidates must currently be enrolled in an industrial design program or recently graduated.
A creative mindset with a genuine passion for industrial design and product development
– Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with the design team
– Ability to generate ideas through sketching and communicate them with the team and build feasible design concepts
– Proficiency of the Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
– Create presentations/product documents to communicate ideas within the team and to executive management
– Good 3D modeling skills in Solidworks
– Excellent 3D rendering skills (Keyshot)
– High level of fluency in English (other languages a bonus)
– A willingness to embrace the technical side of product development
