Machine Learning Researcher (Computer Vision)
SOUTH KOREA
Boeing Korea Engineering and Technology Center (BKETC) is seeking a Machine Learning Researcher (AI & Autonomy, Machine Learning – Computer Vision) based in Seoul, South Korea. The person will develop algorithms, Machine Learning (ML) / Deep Learning (DL) models, and systems for our research projects focused on autonomy, aircraft manufacturing, factory digitalization, etc. The work scope will also include research on state-of-the-art models in computer vision (CV). This position will report to the Boeing Research and Technology Manager.

Job Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains computer vision-based machine learning (ML) models focused on autonomous flight, aircraft manufacturing, or factory digitalization
- Develops ML/DL models operating on our MLOps system that complies with aviation safety requirements
- Works with a principal investigator to decompose and partition system requirements to software requirements
- Works as a member of the international team with the members in one or more countries where English is the common language
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Applicants must have in-depth knowledge in machine learning, preferably in Computer Vision-based Machine Learning/Deep Learning
- Coding experience in more than one software language (ex: C, C++, C#, Java, Python, Javascript, Matlab, and so on.)
- Applicants must have the enthusiasm to learn new technologies and improve their skillsets
- This role requires creativity, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
- Proper verbal and written English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Master’s degree with at least three years of work experience or Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Statistics or equivalent
- Ph.D. degree with at least two years of work experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Statistics
- The ideal candidate is a self-starter and someone who works well within a team
- Good to have in-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art techniques applied in autonomous driving
- Good to have proven experience in machine learning frameworks or libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, etc

Mid Level Guidance Navigation and Control Engineer

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a mid-level Guidance Navigation and Control (GN&C) Engineer to join Boeing in the St. Louis, MO area.
The selected candidate will work on an exciting proprietary program that is growing rapidly. You will have the opportunity to be involved from the beginning of the design cycle and personally contribute to the development of a next-generation platform in the form of state of the art GN&C control system development, performance analysis and simulations. In addition, there will be visibility across the Boeing enterprise into modern GN&C and simulation development methods.
Position Responsibilities:
- Define Guidance, Navigation and Control (GN&C), mission requirements and ensure requirements traceability and quality from the system level to component level
- Utilize multidisciplinary model data (aero, mass properties, propulsion, etc.) to develop and refine a complex, nonlinear, 6 degrees of freedom simulation model
- Design flight control laws using modern linear control design techniques and tools to achieve design and performance targets
- Utilize advanced nonlinear analysis to assess and refine the control law design
- Perform model validation against test data to inform and refine the accuracy of the simulation environment
- Develop supplementary controllers, limiters, mode logic, and signal shaping to properly bound the performance within all areas flight envelope
- Work with flight simulation and Vehicle Management Systems (VMS) software engineers to incorporate control laws into the operational flight program
- Support pilot evaluations in the manned flight simulations, hardware in the loop testing, and flight testing
- Work under minimal supervision

The Boeing India Engineering team is currently looking for Associate Full Stack Developer to join their team in Chennai, India. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services business organization.
Position Responsibilities:
- Estimate user stories/features (story point estimation) and tasks in hours with the required level of accuracy and commit them as part of Sprint Planning
- Contributes to the Backlog refinement meetings by promptly asking relevant questions to ensure requirements achieve the right level of DOR
- Works with the Product Owner to confirm that the code and acceptance tests reflect the desired functionality
- Raise any impediments/risks (technical/operational/personal) they come across and approaches Scrum Master/Technical Architect/PO accordingly to arrive at a solution
- Update the status and the remaining efforts for their tasks on a daily basis
- Ensures change requests are treated correctly and tracked in the system, impact analysis done and risks/timelines are appropriately communicated
- Develops working software towards committed Team PI Objectives and Iteration plans
