Bharat Electronics Limited was founded in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India in 1954.
Starting with the manufacture of a few communication equipment in 1956, BEL started producing receiving valves in 1961, germanium semiconductors in 1962 and radio transmitters for AIR in 1964 with help of Soviet Union.
- In 1966, BEL set up a radar manufacturing facility for the army and in-house R&D. In 1967, BEL began manufacturing transmitting tubes, silicon devices and integrated circuits. The PCB manufacturing facility was established in 1968.
Bharat Electronics Limited, a Navratna Company and India’s premier Professional Electronics Company requires the following personnel for its Machilipatnam Unit on permanent basis.
Engineering Assistant (Trainee) will undergo training for an initial period of six months during which they will be paid stipend of Rs.10,000/-pm. On successful completion of the training and on passing the gradation test they will be placed in the regular pay scales indicated above.

Salary:
- Engineering Assistant (Trainee)-Rs.24,500- Rs.90,000/
- Technician-Rs.21,500- Rs.82,000/-
Application Fees :
- Candidates belonging to GEN/OBC/EWS category are required to pay an application fee of Rs.250 + 18% GST.=Rs.295/- (in total)
- SC/ST/PwBD/Ex- Servicemen candidates are exempted from paying application fee.
