The Product Validation Department is looking for an engineer to join in the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) team. This position will be responsible for vehicle integration and validation of proprietary radar and camera based safety systems.
These systems functioning correctly day-in and day-out is critical to the elevated safety of modern commercial vehicles. A day in the role could consist of test case development, test execution, reporting, and issue resolution. Product validation takes place at a variety of locations including testing workshops, on the road, and at test tracks. You’ll also have the chance to interface across DTNA departments working in collaboration with product design, service, warranty, suppliers, and our customers.

Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree focused in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering and prefer 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- A commercial driver’s license or the ability to obtain one is required.
- Strong collaboration, speaking, and presentation skills are required.
- Must be able to lead/support electronic integration testing for over the road vehicle tests, including major quarterly road tests.

Job Description :
Plan, organize, lead, and execute test activities related to electrical, electronic, mechanical, environmental reliability, and safety of electrical systems on medium to heavy duty truck platform. Primary responsibility will be the development and testing of pedestrian warning system.
Develop design verification plans and reports (DVP&R). Identify the objectives and applicable standards, define test cases and test procedures. Execute test plan. Document test results with conclusions and recommendations via informal and formal reports and presentations to engineering management.
Advise project leads and manager of project scope, impacts, and timing as it relates to validation efforts and activities for projects. Lead work packages. Develop timelines and budgets for projects.
