Job Description :
- Oversee and implement product and process improvement to ensure designs and processes assure utmost quality
- Actively participate in setting product quality targets and standards for the project
- Review product and design specifications, validation plan, reliability plan & critical to quality requirements. Track them all the way from prototype to production
- Effective test build planning to ensure robust validation capturing all the variations possible in production
- Ensure failure/issues/lessons learned are forwarded effectively to the new product development
- Actively participate and drive DFMEA, PFMEA, Robust RCA (8D) throughout the project all the way from component to system level
- Apply and facilitate data driven design for quality best practices
- Actively participate in supplier audits during ppap and production. Ensuring the processes are effective, scalable and least error prone
- Effective design reviews and robust signoff at each stage-gate of development cycle.
Here’s what we are looking for:
- Experience and understanding of quality tools and methods (APQP, D/PFMEA, 8D, Six sigma, DVP, HALT, Build planning)
- Working experience in battery quality, design or validation.
- Thorough understanding of cells, BMS, battery safety standards, interconnections, battery test methods.
- Proven experience in problem solving, root cause analysis, design for reliability, design for manufacturing and test
