Power Train Transmission Engineer
Work Experience : 2 – 4 Years
- B.Tech/B.E/M.tech/M.E. or equivalent with Specialization in Mechanical Engineering/Machine design
- 3-5 years of relevant experience working in transmissions
- Develop components like belts drives, Chain drives and geared drives from vendors
- Write detailed requirements for the transmission sub system
- To develop innovative test plans that accurately reflect use cases
- Liaise with suppliers to meet internal release and testing milestones
- Define End of Line requirements for the vendor
- Own all interfaces internally and perform Interaction FMEAs
- Draft and execute DVP for the transmission
- Coordinate testing to ensure validation timelines are met
- Use root cause analysis methods such as Pareto chart, Ishikawa, 5 why, FMEA to identify the source of problems. Bug solving as per Field > Assembly > Material as the general priority.
- Come up with reliable, cost-effective, fast solutions within constraints in a production environment.
Domain skills:
- Experience in Transmission system selection and design
- Design of transmission elements such as pulleys, gears, chains, belts, shafts and bearings
- DFx of transmission elements such as motors, gears, sprockets, belts
- Experience in Requirements, risks and interface management
- Manufacturing process selection
- Awareness of relevant standards for powertrain elements

Job Description :
Battery Engineering Battery Design Engineer
Work Experience : 2 – 4 Years
- Bachelor’s or master’s in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- 3 to 4 years’ experience in the design and development of electronic packaging, peripheral development for electric vehicles
- Design concepts to ensure that the battery meets its functional requirements
- Design and evaluate various thermal management solutions
- Demonstrate continual improvement of departmental procedures as per the requirements of the corporate QS standards
- Deliver design definitions for prototype and production batteries
- Work on testing requirements for projects
- Drive focus on design thinking and design language
- Ensure that Cost, Quality & Schedule goals are met for programs/projects along with driving compliance with corporate guidelines on DFM, DFA, and component selection/derating
- Liaise with NPD, Sourcing, VD, other engineering teams, integrators, and technicians in the Battery lab to deliver prototype and production designs
- Own component designs through deliverables like component requirements/specifications, concepts, DFMEAs, DFX, tolerance stacks, detailed component and assembly drawings, component and assembly validation plans, and manufacturing drawings
Here’s what we are looking for:
- Good understanding of design for assembly
- Understanding of heat transfer and various thermal management solutions
- Proficiency in creating detailed engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning, and tolerancing and performing tolerance stack-ups
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of cell performance, impedance, cell testing/data analysis, and failure modes in Li-ion cells
- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) experience and battery design experience would be an added advantage

Preparation of detailed specifications for Civil, Structural & tankage jobs, BOQs with specifications, Structural and Tanks specifications. Preparation of specifications, MOC, BOQs, MTO, zero based cost estimate for the total projects/plant jobs. Maintaining and updating departmental ISO/IMS documents. Preparation of P&ID, GA drawings, 3D/isometric drawings, equipment GA and project layouts. Finalization of Tanks, drawing approval, co-ordination with consultant, technical normalization, TER, and LCC. Co-coordinating for PO placement, follow up for manufacturing & supply, QA/QC /Drawing approval, Inspection of Eqpts, arrange third party inspection & provide despatch clearances. Providing/arranging Eqpt data from supplier to construction/erection agency/Consultant. Check site measurements & Maintain the records. Liasoning with govt agencies for the statutory compliance. Obtain necessary statutory approvals and compliances. Issue of necessary work permits, Preparation/Updation of HIRA, JSA, RISK register & mitigation, IMS documents. Preparation of equipment schedule, PSSR, Commissioning reports, Conducting PAT for the equipment, handing over notes. Certification of contractor’s/Vendor bills and total safety management. Quality checks and maintain records. Erection, Commissioning, stabilisation and handing over of Equipments/Systems to operation and maintenance.
