Job Description :      

  • Being able to Practice formal PM methodology with documented processes and procedures while managing a portfolio of projects
  • Meeting requirements with Quality, Health, Safety & Environment rules and integrity, and, Compliance in its activities and those around
  • Developing close relationships with our Customers, End Users, and Channel Partners to understand their perspectives and needs
  • Driving resolution of specification and commercial issues, managing correspondence, preparation and completion of external kick-off meetings with customers, provide regular updates to project stakeholders on an agreed basis
  • Negotiating and managing change orders with the Customers by identifying opportunities to bring incremental revenue to GE while providing the customer with added value and optimizing project contribution margin
  • Receiving, analyzing, and accepting projects assigned through the R3 process. Also, Managing scope, schedule, budget, and risk for each project
  • Monitoring financial and operational performance against the agreed timescales, and initiating corrective actions where appropriate
  • Developing and maintaining robust project plans with the cross-functional team that meet customer and business objectives This rely hugely on the implementation and adaptation of CPS across functions)
  • Leading the cross-functional project team regularly to communicate the detailed schedule, costs, and high-level details to the functional team. Also, to identify and manage risk assessment with an action plan
  • Leading progress project meetings and maintaining overall project ownership and responsibility for coordinating a multiple person OTR matrix team, including Engineering, Procurement, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, and Services
  • Making decisions and driving actions to ensure on-time delivery of assigned projects. Also, Manage regular Project Reviews and leverage situations critical to projects by using a defined escalation strategy
  • Being responsible for project risk management processes identifying, analyzing, and mitigating project risk to reduce/avoid exposure.
  • Coordinating issues resolution with the function providing the corrective actions requires responsive customer communication with regular updates on progress on behalf of the company
