HCL IS HIRING LEAD QUALITY ENGINEERS
Quality lead is responsible for the continued development, improvement & implementation of quality systems. This position provides Quality guidance, product resolution decisions & statistical problem solving techniques to project teams in order to resolve technical issues as well as support on process improvement and continuous improvement activities.
Qualification: B.E Mechanical
Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in Quality. Relevant experience in a high volume manufacturing environment.
Core Skills:
- Performs Quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements.
- Broad knowledge of theory and principles of statistics ( Six sigma Green belt/Black belt preferred)
- Applies statistical process control (SPC), ANOVA, Regression, Correlation methods for analyzing data.
- In-depth understanding of Quality methodologies
- Quality certifications a plus (ASQ, CQA)
- Excellent problem solving ability & investigational skills
- Excellent working knowledge on the corrective & preventive action system
- Proven ability to effectively assess and implement continuous improvement techniques
- Experience in reviewing Design verification/Validation documents
- Performs Measurement system analysis ( Gage R&R)
- Thorough knowledge on Calibration & Process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills thereby driving actions for closure
Software Tools:
- Minitab
- MS Office Tools, Applications & Packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)
Job responsibilities:
- Performs detail design control documentation review for deliverables such as Design verification study, Process validation study & engineering study.
- Participate in Design History file reviews.
- Represents the organization by interfacing with customers.
- Assist with internal & external audits.
- Performs statistical analysis to analyze trends as well as perform a thorough investigation and recommend corrective actions for processes & products.
- Devises and implements various methods and procedures for inspecting and evaluating the reliability and accuracy of products, processes & production systems.
- Prepare reports by collecting, interpreting, analyzing, summarizing data and suggest recommendations for improvements
- Devises corrective and preventive actions including process and product improvements through the analysis of data from various sources
- Participate in risk management as per ISO 14971
- Conduct training on QMS, ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820, Design Control, CAPA, Risk management, Calibration, MSA and SPC
- Conduct Gage R&R Studies
- Review and suggest adequate rationales for Design verification study, Process validation study & engineering study.
- Provide adequate support in Equipment qualification and process validation activities
