Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering from an ABET accredited university. Proficient in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google applications.
6 to 7 Years of experience in Design Engineering of Body Exterior Trims (Front End Carrier Assy will be preferred) Domain. Experience:
Minimum 6 Yrs of experience in creating parametric CAD models using CATIA V5 and maintaining and refine them through various stages of development.
Experience in applying DFM, DFA knowledge to systems to prepare for tool kick off.
Good understanding of Exterior Safety/Regulation/Homologation/Specific requirements of various regions.
Expert Level in CATIA V5 with 2D drawings creation skills.
Experience in designing of parts using Injection molding, thermoforming, compression molding, etc. is essential.
Conduct initial surface feasibility and work with a styling studio to define styling themes. Layout and packaging study and interact with cross-functional teams to understand the packagerequirements, manufacturability etc.
