Senior Executive / Asst. Manager – Trim Interior

Position Summary:

• Handling Vendors for Part Development & Pricing
• Support for Part Quality & Supplies maintenance

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Source Identification and selection
• Review with vendors for development schedule and follow up as per the time schedule
• Finalizing Part Price for new projects & new parts
• Negotiation of price with vendors to meet the annual cost reduction target
• Engineering order change (EO) implementation and management
• Analysing and enhancement of capacity for vendors
• Coordinate with Vendor & other teams like QC, PMT for various activities like 4M change, ISIR, Shortage etc.
• Localization & Globalization of the parts
• Ensuring Manufacturing & Engineering process with vendors as per HMI/HMC standard during all stages Proto ~ SOP
• Crisis Management during supply issue at Vendor (Eg: IR Issue, Flood Issue, etc.)

Educational Qualifications: B.E, B.Tech Engineer

Role : Permanent                          

Year of Experience: 1- 4 years

Part Development Specialist – Electrical

• Sourcing and development of Electrical Parts. To carry out all part development activities, including material selection, tool development, testing, validation, price negotiation, quality management.
• Sourcing of components for passenger cars, Car problem review, First time vendor & critical parts management
• Development of components for the new model, facelift MY, EO change parts including 4M process
• Negotiation of all types of costs, terms & conditions
• Tool movement documentation/asset creation, payment, ISIR, coordination & approval
• Tryout, DIMS, OK follow up, ES/MS Completion verification, duration & endurance planning
• Process audit, pilot stage quality issue, delivery issue follow up & countermeasure implementation
• One time implementation of EO changes (Design change, Cost Reduction, Quality Improvement)
• Cost approval for EO change, capacity enhancement, etc.
• Capacity management, RM trend monitoring, focus on CR through VA/VE, safety & risk mitigation, critical issue management,
• Job work reconciliation support to Press/KD Team
• Coordination & Support to different teams for completing activities like FTA, DBK, etc.
• Identify potential vendors and explore localization of parts

Candidates with good knowledge of sourcing, development, pricing, and vendor management preferred

Candidates should have good knowledge of material management, govt. regulations & approval process
