Job Description :
Hands-on experience in product design and small scale fabrication
processes through mini projects and work experience. Software skills viz., AutoCAD, SolidWorks and ANSYS is preferred. Basic knowledge of web development and databases would be an added advantage.
Expenses:
All the field work-related expenses will be reimbursed after producing the original bills. An advance can also be granted for meeting the field work-related expenses, depending on the requirements.
Candidates must be:
1. Passionate about learning things. 2. Have a good command of language (Tamil & English). Knowledge of additional south Indian languages and Hindi will be an added advantage
Responsibilities:
1. Contribute to the product design activities of ongoing projects
2. Review, collection, entry, and assisting in writing technical reports.
3. Fieldwork (interacting with the technology users, fabricators, design experts,
innovators, etc.)
4. Will be required to provide support to a range of tasks as delegated by the
management.
General Instructions to the candidates
- All the positions are on purely contract basis.
- The completion of the period of contract will not confer any right for further extension, regularization, permanency at the Institute.
