JOB DUTIES: This is a beginning assignment for those possessing an accredited engineering degree.
Work is directed by a Supervising Engineer, Staff Engineer or Project Engineer and is normally supported daily by technical personnel, test and evaluation engineers, plant personnel and suppliers.
Assignments are oriented to product concepts, design, development and design layout preparation. Applies gained design and developmental knowledge to the development of new product or maintenance of existing product. Requires an understanding and application of work objectives and the means to achieve them. Plans and directs work of technicians.
Gains exposure to the various methods to conceive product design concepts including preparation of engineering drawings and designs by manual and computer graphics. Gains experience in making design decisions by applying engineering design calculations, analysis and computer simulations. Applies computer applications, integrates computer systems and uses knowledge of the design and development process to assist in the completion of work assignments.
Applies oral and written skills to communicate technical information regarding design concepts and development. This position is exposed to the use and writing of patents.
Adheres to established standards, policies and practices relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, ergonomics, etc.

MACHINE OPERATOR – INJECTION MOLDING-1
Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or general education diploma (GED); with two + years of experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one to one and small group situations to other employees in the organization.
Mathematical: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all unites of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to interpret procedure changes and work orders.
Other Skills: Must have mechanical aptitude.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close, distance, color and peripheral vision.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. BUSINESS IT ANALYST
JOB DUTIES :
This position reports to the General Manager (Logistics Center Manager) of the facility.
Customers may include internal Caterpillar organizations (service centers and/or worldwide business units), suppliers, dealers and/or product end users.
Responsibilities of the incumbents are along functional lines with individual Associate IT Analysts in Applications assigned new development and/or maintenance of existing mainframe, personal computer, server, and/or distributed computing systems.
This role understands and executes standard work to ensure the scope of services achieve and maintain appropriate level of risk and compliance to internal policies and procedures, including those relating to sustainability, cybersecurity, SOX, and IT General Controls.
Other job duties include, but not limited to:
- Conducts IT Orientation for new joinees.
- Assists with procuring IT equipment and installation for facility.
- Supports the warehouse with IT requests related to network, systems, RF functioning etc
- Codes, tests, and debugs programs of varying degrees of difficulty.
- Works on application/technical problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support functions.
- Works with limited assistance on increasingly complex programs or subroutines.
- Under direction of more senior analysts, assists in the development or integration of major system modules and programs.
- Knowledgeable of current operating environment, programming languages, logic diagrams, testing, debugging and documentation.
- Follows established development and support processes.
- Typically serves as a team member on one or more 6 Sigma projects. The incumbents are considered the first level of programming expertise and work within defined objectives and instructions from IT people for use in designing, testing and documenting systems and programs.
- Distribution Center Desktop Support – 27 Users
- Provide PC support under guidance of GIS Asset Management and Software Management including Build PCs, Perform initial troubleshooting of PC related issues, Request and cordinate with GIS Asset Management for new stocks when equipment and peripherals have been consumed , Perform PC audits when requested by GIS Asset Management, Coordinate all PC hardware purchases through GIS Asset Management
- Assist in site IP phone and telepresence management under guidance of GIS Voice teams
- Work directly on complex application/technical problem identification and resolution, including responding to off shift and weekend support calls
- Distribution Center Operation Support
- Maintain and administer all on-site warehouse IT devices including scan handheld units; Zebra TC70x with Android OS, Zebra QLN420 wireless printers and Zebra 110x printers. Manage, configuration and upgrade devices including OS/firmware and perform radius account changes using enterprise mobility management solution, “SOTI MobiControl”.
- Cybersecurity Champion in Middle East Distribution Centre
- Designated authorized individual for technical changes related to information security in the Centre and liaise with Cybersecurity and center activities involving Factory Systems (e.g. HVAC system, machine tools, assembly line processes, etc.).

- Raise RFI and Purchase Requests for local capital and expense projects- Tools: Guided Buy & NextGen

- Business Analysis
- Reviews various reports to identify trends and/or other areas of concern.
- Identifies and tracks input and processing errors within various systems used by assigned business area. Troubleshoots issues with reports for specified changes and ensures the issues have been resolved.
- Performs analysis and reporting. Organizes and analyzes errors to identify their root causes and determine viable solutions (i.e. system improvements, triggering errors, mapping errors, human errors, training needs, etc.)
- Develops, implements and provides ongoing metrics to insure the defined business process is adhered to, and the business process remains appropriate and effective to achieve the business objective.
- Coordinates with business area management to define the scope, specifications, deliverables, and controls of projects for new and existing application development technologies and software capabilities.
- May perform Project Management duties for new applications or functionality such as project plans, charters, business cases, requirements, weekly status meetings/reports and conduct necessary manager or stakeholder meetings.
