SW Safety Engineer – Engineer/Sr.Engineer/AM
Chennai – TN
Create the SW safety plans, first.
2) Assist to the writing and review of SW Safety requirements.
3) Do SW Safety Assessments (FTA, FMEA, etc.).
4) Do a freedom from interference study at the level of the SW architecture.
5) Do a study of the SW architecture from a safety standpoint.
6) Do a safety impact study in the event of changes.
7) Carry out the SW Safety deliverables and traceability reviews.
Head – Projects -New Vehicle launches (DVP)
Secure cost competitiveness for vehicle process and equipment related to purchase
Monitor preparation status, supplier selection activities, sourcing plan creation and finalisation and RFQ management and price negotiation
Ensure effective RFQ and technical evaluation process across all commodities and projects
Guide the team for sourcing activity by supplier selection with right level of QCD commitment and meet the Target given for the program
Participate in ASC and validate the sourcing plan and selection as per DOA
Support the team on developmental concerns
Involve on negotiation for high value parts or services to meet the target
Monitor interactions of the PDT team with PDT (product development team), SAM (Supplier Account Manager), ARC (Alliance Resource Committee) and other teams outside APO
Drive D2C to achieve the maximum competitiveness in sourcing
