APPLICATION ENGINEER :
FRESHER
Purpose of the Role
- Execute customer tooled up trials within specified time and as per the committed terms.
- Execute MRR, Pre Sales and customer complaint trials in specified time.
- Prepare Trial data, Photo album of the trials conducted.
- Visit customer for tooled up trials, Productivity improvement exercises, programming & tooling support & Operation training.
- Work out Lathe inquiries received from Marketing in the form of feasibility study, competitive time estimation, and tooled up proposal within stipulated time. ( need based )
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Study the drawings, check for feasibility, arrive process and prepare time estimation and detailed proposal.
- Ensure on time availability of Spl. Work Holding & tooling ordered, by discussing various suppliers for achieving the optimum performances.
- Ensure machine readiness and child parts of work holding for fitting on the m/c by discussion with R&D and planning Depts.
- Ensure conduct trials to achieve the accuracy & cycle time committed as per the proposal submitted to the customer on time.
- Ensure conduct machining capability trials of new products by conducting MRR Tests as per R&D guidelines..
- Ensure conduct the pre-sales trials as per the customer requirement for getting new orders on time.
- Ensure conduct of the customer complaint trials on time.
- Prepare detailed Final trial reports, photo album to capture and create trial data base.
- Conduct Demo component trials for Exhibitions according to the machine models and capacity.
- Complete tooled up machine trials on time.
- Handling of customer materials from in coming to out going.
- Visiting to the customer’s place for tooled up trials, programming & processing support
- Maintain Application trial and storage areas in accordance to TQM environment.
- On receipt of AE items at stores, receive materials and maintain these items in AE Storage area
- By maintaining system compliance, ensure all the items including customer materials of tooled up machine goes along with machine.

SHEET METAL PROCESSING ENGINEER
3 – 6 YEARS
Purpose of the role
- To ensure on time delivery of the components as per customer needs
- To plan and ensure maximum utilization of the available resources
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Prepare the configuration control management and ensure full pack of Project handover note.
- Prepare the macro level project plans for getting it approved by the HoD.
- Prepare the micro level project plans and get it vetted with the HoD.
- Ensure updation of the registers with Raw materials, Specifications and Consumables and MTS numbers are assigned on time.
- Ensure the on-time execution of Purchase Request and Budget requirements.
- Establish the component classifications as Class A, B & C.
- Facilitate the cross-functional brain storming for discussing the component classification.
- Ensure CAD / CAM request & Tool requirements are captured adequately.
- Ensure Process Information for “Outsourcing” and Purchase information for “Bought out” items are captured correctly.
- Prepare the Manufacturing Technology Sheet with the complete information and submit for approval with the HoD.
- Ensure MTS is issued to the manufacturing shops with complete process information.
- Ensure end to end coordination up to Part prove out within the timelines.
- Review the MTS feedback form to study the RFQ Vs Actual Performance and take action plans for continual improvements.
- Planning of work schedules, assignments, and operation sequences to meet production requirements, including the allocation of resources.
- Adhere and implement the TQM methodologies.
- Implement the requirements of ACME & ACDE among entire FAD Sheet Metal function.
