Job Description :
Purpose of the role
This logistics position is responsible for delivering Products/Projects logistics executions to our Mining industry. This is an individual contributor role working within our team reporting to the Logistics Lead / Manager and working closely with the stakeholders in different regions/territories/projects.
Your responsibilities
Handling Products/Parts & Project shipments and knowledge about sizing and load plan for shipping activities.
Ensure project shipping activities are handled as per statutory requirements (VGM, Road permit, Dangerous goods, Escorting requirement, Origin Certificates, customs documentation etc.)
Freight negotiation and liaising with Freight forwarders.
Assisting customers with the importation of our shipments at their destination.
Handling all documentation regarding pre & post-shipments, like preparation of Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of origin, Legalization etc.) & customer’s letters.
Liaison with third party/own warehouse/supplier for packing & transport coordination.
Need to verify customer’s LC and to make required documents as per LC and handle LC shipments, wherever called for.
