Mechanical Engineer 

The Mechanical Technician is responsible to perform technical assignments and tasks in support of engineering design, build and test activities.

  • Lead design, fabrication and build of test set-ups and test equipment used by design and test engineering groups.
  • Support in building, modifying and verifying of engineering prototype samples,
  • Support Ed, DV, PV testing by conducting tests and documenting results as needed.
  • Provide support in troubleshooting of warranty returns as needed.
  • Manage equipment and prototype component inventory in the engineering center.
  • Manage equipment calibration and repair by outside vendors.
  • Perform  detailed work assignments provided by the mentor or team member, by applying established and well defined engineering techniques
  • Work assignments primarily involve entry level or intermediate work.
  • Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.  Ensures that facilities are in full compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Maintains regular attendance.
  • Follows safe work procedures; Uses appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE); Uses workplace tools and equipment as instructed; Reports workplace hazards, injuries and illness as soon as possible following event.
  • Complies with the requirements of Quality Operating System (QOS)
Education/Experience
Associate of Science degree or equivalent5- 8 years’ relevant experience regarding the Responsibility/ Activities in serial development. Automotive electronic (Mandatory)
 Technical Knowledge
Knowledge in mechanical fabrication tasks using power tools.Knowledge in material joining techniques (soldering, brazing, welding).Troubleshooting and debugging skills.Working knowledge of common laboratory equipment.Knowledge of testing techniques.Knowledge in structured problem solving techniques (8D).

Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for design, development and testing of electrical hardware based on the electrical architecture and the electrical requirements within a project.

  • Develop electrical hardware in compliance with Global Product Engineering Process (GPEP).
  • Requirements development and analysis, electrical architecture development, component research and circuit design.
  • In depth analysis, simulation, development of design documentation (ME/EE interface, HSIS, WCCA, DFMEA, Schematic)
  • Optimization of design for cost, manufacturability, testability, and quality
  • Verify electrical requirements at component and bench level testing.
  • Support rest of the functional disciplines with all aspects related to electrical hardware.
  • Perform work assignments as a highly competent electrical engineer, requiring independent design, implementation, and testing of the electrical hardware.
  • Work assignments primarily involve intermediate through advanced level work, moving toward complete technical competency and mastery of the field.
  • Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.  Ensures that facilities are in full compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Master’s preferred)
  • 4-8 years’ relevant experience regarding the responsibility / activities (listed above) in serial development.
  • Automotive electronic (mandatory).
  • RF/Radar knowledge (preferred)

Process Engineer USA

The Senior Process Engineer is globally responsible for the management, continuous improvement and implementation of all engineering processes in cross-functional alignment to achieve efficient and effective product development within a standard compliant environment.

  • Develop and maintain global engineering process strategy and road map in line with business strategy and direction
  • Lead Process Development and continuous improvement activities working closely with Engineering Process, Methods and Tools teams, Quality and IT
  • Owns and maintains the Global Engineering Process Model
  • Maintain interface to other business areas (e.g. Sales, Purchasing, PMO, Operations) to ensure seamless interfaces and an integrated cross-functional process landscape
  • Establishes methodologies and metrics driven culture to verify process performance (KPIs)
  • Generate and maintain all necessary documentation and data to ensure traceability and compliance to company procedures and regulatory standards
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent (Master’s preferred)
  • Min. 5 years’ experience in developing of and/or working with automotive engineering process and compliance to engineering standards (i.e. ASPICE, ISO 26262, IATF 16949, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of Automotive Standards e.g. V-Model, ASPICE/CMMI, ISO 2626, ISO TS-16949, APQP or comparable
  • Experience in planning and coordinating cross-functional projects/ activities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Process Development, Modelling and implementation
  • Comprehensive knowledge of English (speak & write) – German is a plus
