JOB DESCRIPTION – R&D Centre, Plant Control

Qualification

B.E./B. Tech (Mechanical/ Electrical/Electronic Engineering)

Job Responsibilities

Plant Control Activities 

  1. Coordination for maintenance and upkeep of the plant
  2. Resolution of plant related day-to-day issues along with respective departments
  3. Ensuring confidentiality of R&D Centre (Test Vehicles and facilities)
  4. Government & External Affairs – Regular liaising with district government authorities along with respective departments
  5. Plant related Legal Compliances: Applicable to MSIL and Suppliers, central coordination, trainings and compliance along with respective departments

Driving Digital Projects

  1. Drive digital initiatives in the plant
  2. Implement Digital Safety Management System
  3. Maintain Data Folder of key plant activities

Sustainability

  1. Good understanding of environment regulation, operating standards from plant operations point of view.
  2. Co-ordination with Environment dept., participation in ISO 14001 audits and other environmental audits.
  3. Drive Carbon Neutrality Projects: energy Conservation, solar Projects, Miyawaki Forest Concept etc.

Management Review of Plant Activities

  1. Create MIS and facilitate management reviews
  2. Prepare weekly, monthly progress reports for management reporting

Competencies / Skills

  1. Good communication skills (written, verbal), drafting and presentation skills
  2. Analytical & Conceptual Thinking.
  3. Computer Competency ( MS Office, AutoCAD).
  4. Decision Making
  5. Proficiency in project management software tools

Other specific inputs

  1. Good interpersonal and networking skills
  2. Good communication & presentation skills
  3. Experience in Layout planning will be preferable
