Job Description :
- CAD tool experience in Surface and Sheet metal and Casting Modelling from any of the CAD tool (Catia)
- Design knowledge of the components on the area of experience.
- Material knowledge & Manufacturing process knowledge (especially on experience area)
- Knowledge of product development and release of TcAE and product life cycle management
- Preparation of engineering drawings for the projects to include preliminary design, calculations, GD&T and manufacturing feasibility
- Should be Dynamic in working based on Project importance & individual working ability.
- Preference would be given to those who have worked in multiple disciplinary & Reverse engineering projects esp. from OEM / Tier 1
- Preference would be given to those who have created CAD by using stl files (Cloud points data)
- Automobile background
- More exposure in surface/Casting modelling
Professional
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
Roles & Responsibilities:
At the Role of Design Engineer responsible for,
- Detailed input study for the allocated components
- Self-estimation for the allocated component
- Work on the CAD software for creation of 3D/2D models
- Self-quality check and Check list completion
- Delivery document preparation
- TcAE upload and release the model.
- Entry of worksheet day to day
- Support team members on Tool/Technical
