Job Description :
- Preliminary preparation of concept and design for the metering / project supply
- Review Basic Enquiry- Technical Specifications, Drawings / Documents
- Data collection from client / Site, supplier, as required for better evaluation
- Evaluate the client requirements w.r.t. Scope of Supply and other applicable terms, standards & practices
- Provide suggestions and evaluate an alternative method for better solutions, if any
- Conceive proposed pipe routing, advanced site Installation activities, if required
- Prepare conceptual design sketches as required
- Estimate Bill of Quantities, for better cost optimization
- Perform Material Specification comparison, if required to offer better alternate options / technical solution
- Create evaluation data sheet and reference drawings as per client’s standards
- Review BOC offers received from vendors to prepare competitive proposal
- Sound knowledge of PD Pumps, Compressors, other rotary equipment and accessories as minimum
- Supporting front sales to increase the conversion ratio
- Propose standardization of documentation, equipment, systems as a part of continuous improvements
- Conducting TRB to proceed on proposal preparation
- Maintain the progress / priority report of proposals and share with management as required
- Submission of various reports as applicable internally and to client for business purpose
- Technical and Commercial evaluation including risk analysis of proposal prior to submission
- Ensure no commercial overruns because of BOM or over engineering during execution
- Smooth handover of proposal to order execution team with complete data as required for clarity
- Support execution and service team on pre-bid related data as applicable
Roles & Responsibilities :
- design overall schemes, (the scale of the design may range from an initial outline to a full, detailed design)
- review technical data details of the client requirement
- liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, technical experts and other consultants, if required.
- work collaboratively with other businesses, as required by organisation
- maintain and expand the portfolio of clients by developing professional relationships that lead to secure repeat business.
- working knowledge of design software solutions
- able to extend technical support to front sales, proposal team.
- Visiting client for technical discussion, presentation to close the bid successfully
