STRUCTURAL DESIGNER
Job Summary
The Structural Designer is expected to have highly qualified on Steel Design and Fabrication concepts of Offshore, FPSO and Drilling Rig structures
- Study and understand the structural scope of work and quickly become conversant to Cameron / Schlumberger procedures and standards.
- Modeling and Detailing knowledge of offshore, FPSO and drilling rig projects based on client and process requirements, as well as knowledge of relevant industry standards.
- Produce 3D model, 2D GA drawing, detail drawings and various reports by meeting Client and Company standards.
- Perform regular TEKLA /BOCAD model checking and stage base Clash check using reference models and resolve as applicable.
- Effective implementation of Change management and Revision Control.
- Import and export of reference model to TEKLA from PDMS or E3D and Vise versa
- Participate in Design review and implement the changes of 3D model structural deliverables.
- Should be able to work in both metric and imperial units.
- Assigned tasks will be executed with limited supervision.
- Ability and willingness to travel, as required to fulfill project and business needs.
- Actively support, participate in, and maintain the integrity and on-going function of the Company and facility HSSE program; ensuring a safe/healthy work environment.
- When delegated, must be able to complete the tasks with Company and Client standards and quality requirements
Minimum Job Qualifications
- 10+ years relevant experience within the Oil and Gas industry
- Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient in 3D and 2D CAD software’s viz. TEKLA and BOCAD to produce high quality 3D model and detailed drawings as per Industry and Safety standard with minimum guidance.
- Knowledge and exposure of offshore and Onshore Industry Design and Draft standards & Codes – AWS, API, ASIC, BS, EURO, OSHA
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

CIVIL & STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
Job Summary
Act as a technical expert for Structural design issues, and perform structural design calculations as necessary. Ensure compliance of Schlumberger structural design with applicable industry codes, standards and regulations, client specifications
- Meet or exceed customer expectations in a timely manner within the budget limits.
- Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge in all pertinent aspects of the discipline including design, analysis techniques, products, applicable codes and construction practices related to assigned projects.
- Create or check the “Design Basis” documents specific to the particular project. The document is based on the applicable Codes, client specifications, Cameron scope of supply, and approved exception list.
- Perform or check Structural calculations with all applicable design loads and design combinations in accordance with the “Design Basis”.
- Interact with Cameron Regional offices and assist with structural engineering design, as required.
- Work independently with minimal supervision. Check the work by others as required.
- Involve in preparing manhour estimation and steel weight estimation. Also actively takepart in preparing the schedule for various activities in structural engineering
- Review of structural calculations performed by junior structural engineers. Represent structural discipline in interdisciplinary reviews
- Advise and assist project and discipline engineers with the interpretation and clarification of applicable industry Codes and Client Specification requirements.
- Advise and assist Construction Managers, QA/QC, and Subcontractors with the interpretation and clarification of construction documents.
- Participate in continuing education to maintain professional status as required by licensing authorities and to enhance professional skills
Minimum Job Qualifications
- 8+ years relevant experience within the Oil and Gas industry
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering / Masters in Structural Engineering
- Proficient in Structural engineering software’s viz. STAAD PRO, SACS and MS Office for manual calculations to produce high quality engineering as per Industry and Safety standard with minimum guidance.

PIPING DESIGNER
Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Project Lead Piping Designer or Engineer, he develops and checks system design CAD files or drawings in conformance with project specifications, scope of work, design parameters, Standards, codes, Procedures, industry practices, P&IDs, Line list, Stress information and vendor data.
- Assist engineers with initial design and final design solutions on a project.
- Conceptualize plans, details and sections to accurately convey construction or fabrication requirements.
- Prepares and develops 2D and/ or 3D CAD designs under the supervision of the Lead Piping Designer or Engineer.
- Responsible for checking and back checking computer models and piping drawings
- Ensure compliance with approved design standards, to provide quality design.
- Coordinate vendor supplied drawings or information into project drawings.
- Extract computer piping drawings and isometrics.
- Prepare Bill of Material and Communicate and interface with other engineering disciplines.
- Attend CAD model reviews as required.
- Maintaining project documentation and teaming up with process engineers.
- Perform with civil or structural along with stress departments to assure suitable flexibility and assist piping systems.
- Ensure performance of staff members is in compliance with established project standards.
- Review project parameters related to piping requirements and Participate project meetings plus provide project status.
- Prepare and manage schedule for piping design projects.
- Ability and willingness to travel, as required Estimated at up to 10%.
- As applicable, must be able to perform or assist in the performance of problem root cause analysis and lessons learned.
- As required, must be able to assists in on-the-job-training and mentoring of assigned personnel.
Minimum Job Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 8 years of piping design experience in relevant Oil and Gas Projects.
- Proficient in current release of PDMS, E3D, AutoCAD, CADWorx or other 3D Software’s.

PROCESS SYSTEMS-PRODUCT ENGINEER
Job Summary
Perform process engineering calculations and address the process engineering design challenges. Keep abreast of industry codes, standards, regulations and guidelines. Meet or exceed project expectations in a timely manner within the budget limits. Co-ordination with intra / inter disciplinary team and provide the required deliverables as and when requested.
- Defines the process to optimize product delivery throughout the facility, considering inputs from clients, products specifications, and cost of solution.
- Size and define process equipment and utilities for O&G facilities during proposal and project execution
- Review and understand client specifications during proposal phase. Raise clarifications and deviations not inline with Company standards.
- Create the design basis, project specifications and philosophies.
- Perform process engineering and develop all process engineering deliverables conforming to project specifications and international standards, as per project schedule and considering project budget.
- Size and define all process systems and utilities to support on cost estimation during proposals and finalize detail sizing and specification during project execution. Define material selection for piping and equipment.
- Lead and assist junior process engineers when developing engineering deliverables.
- Provide inputs to other disciplines during project execution.
- Participate in engineering meetings.
- Provide engineering hours estimate during proposals for its discipline. Responsible for tracking engineering hours for its discipline during project execution.
- Prepare technical requisition and technical bid analysis for safety studies. Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL and other safety studies.
- Participate in 3D model interdisciplinary reviews.
- Review, comment and approve the outsourced process engineering design.
- Co-ordinate with the piping team in development of plot plan.
- Produce Installation, Operation (Start-up and Shut-down) and Maintenance Instruction manuals, including lists for Consumables, Special Tools, Lubricants, and Utilities.
- Perform on-site start-up and / or trouble shooting.
- Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge in its discipline in accordance to applicable codes and standards.
- Provide support to processing facilities as required by Operations on engineering/technical matters.
- Ability and willingness to travel, as required to fulfill project and business needs.
- Actively support, participate in, and maintain the integrity and on-going function of the company and facility HSSE program; ensuring a safe/healthy work environment
Minimum Job Qualifications
- B.E / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with 15+ years Industry experience
- Prior work experience in EPCs, Engineering Consultancies, Production Facility Engineering, Site Engineering support for Pre-commissioning, Commissioning activities
- Perform Process Simulations, P&IDs, BFD, PFDs, UFDs, Heat and Material Balance, Process Equipment datasheets, relief and blowdown studies, PSV load scenario analysis, flare network and flare radiation calculations.
- Thorough facility process engineering knowledge with strong Engineering background.
- Good knowledge of commercial simulation programs such as Symmetry, HYSYS, Flare Net, Promax etc
