Job Description :
Roles and Responsibilities
• Fulfilling tasks under short deadlines.
• Drive and implement designs with cross-functional teams independently.
• Work with suppliers and manufacturing to ensure end-to-end quality consumer
products.
• Be responsible for understanding and resolving all reliability concerns for
designs.
• Execute with leadership through all development phases.
• Design for technical depth and innovative ideas.
• Solve issues associated with the product development path using creativity and
smart designs.
• Develop part and assembly drawings in accordance with applicable standards
• Create BOM, maintain the drawings and BOM revisions.
• Analysis of mechanical specification of materials between different standards.
• Researching and sourcing vendors – obtaining quotes, assessing capabilities
• Travel as required.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or
Manufacturing or equivalent practical experience.
• 0-3 years of experience with consumer electronics.
• Experience with manufacturing processes including Plastic Injection Moulding,
Sheet Metal, Extrusion, and Die Casting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, Creo to create technical drawings
• Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
