Job Description :
Working with the sales and operations teams to turn the demand plans into real orders. Knows how business trends and opportunities affect the demand forecast.
Analyzing incoming demand Finds order exceptions, product rationalisation strategy misalignments, and ways to use existing inventory.
Planning and scheduling order times to meet customer needs while keeping inventory and shipping costs as low as possible
Working with Product Line/Sales/Service Delivery to put delivery dates in order of importance as needed (push outs, pull ins)
Performing different material management analyses, such as statistical material consumption and forecasts, aged inventory, aged purchase orders, in-transit material analysis, safety stock, etc.
Monitoring the amount of safety stock, global inventory, and inventory that is getting old, and working with regions and manufacturing plants to deal with these issues as needed.
