Job Description :
As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will provide effective and efficient purchasing and supply services for the foundry by taking requisitions from departmental users and processing their purchasing/supply requirements, maintaining vendor prices and vendor particulars.
You will thrive for the betterment and you will identify and implement opportunities for continuously improving the supply systems and processes to improve efficiencies, lower the cost of the supply service, and/or lower the total cost of ownership of materials, equipment, and services.
You have great attention to detail and will have the ability to read, maintain the documentation for existing suppliers, understand, process, and verify contracts of suppliers to create accurate Purchase Orders. You will advise procurement when new vendors are required to be established.
You are a team player and will work closely with the greater team to confirm or change orders, order tracking, and expedite. You will ensure timely, accurate, and effective processing of purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
Overall, you will follow the timelines, work on minimization of the stock of indirect supplies, and ensure processing and tracking of vendors to meet Bradken’s needs.
This role will be based in Coimbatore.
