Casting Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:
Requires a bachelor’s degree or Equivalent in an accredited Engineering in Mechanical / Production / Automobile with 3-8 years of Experience and excellent analytical skills.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with team members and others in the workgroup, as well as customers and suppliers.
Good Understanding of Manufacturing/Engineering systems / Drawings.
Strong in complex Sheet metal design Process and Casting design process
Must be strong in GD&T and welding as per ASME standards
Excellent interpersonal, Communication and problem-solving skills.
Required Skills:
Experience in 3D Modelling and Detailing using Creo Tool
Shop floor experience in Sheet metal, Casting, Machining and Forging
Experience from manufacturing Industries preferred
Experience in design review and verification
Experience in Reverse engineering and Value Engineering
Good knowledge of various manufacturing processes
High level of proficiency in Teamcenter.

Requirement:
A Piping Design Engineer-3D Modelling will be responsible for the following;
- Should be able to Plan, Communicate, Control, and Execute the project.
- Ensure timely execution timeline of project and Backlog clearance, if required.
- Coordinate with Piping Lead Engineer, Process, Civil/Structural, Mechanical and Electrical & Instrumentation groups, Stress and Support Engineers for optimal design to ensure design suits all these depts and for optimal design.
- Collaborate with Stress and Support Engineers for optimal design.
- Modelling of clips on equipment.
- Extract and check isometrics.
- Prepare Plot plans, nozzle orientation, platform drawings, Structure details and GAD’S.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical.
- 5+ years with Consultants or EPC contractors in Oil and Gas / Petrochemical / Chemical / Power / Infrastructure industry.
- Fluent English written and oral communication / interpersonal skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and working collaboratively with the -other teams.
- Good knowledge of piping design techniques, materials and piping codes/standards
