We are thrilled to announce the opening of Sondra Perry’s inaugural Dream Commission winning artwork ‘Lineage for a Phantom Zone’ at Fondation Beyeler, in Basel Switzerland, on 13 February 2022. Awarded the prize in 2020, Perry has spent the last year focused on her artwork. This included a successful showing of her precursor work at Fondation Beyeler during Art Basel, Basel, which was presented alongside a talk between Perry and fellow moving-image artist and Rolls-Royce commissioned artist Isaac Julien. Perry’s work is presented for the first time and will be on show until 13 March 2022.
Sondra Perry, an artist and educator based in Newark, New Jersey, who is currently pursuing studies in psychoanalysis, has produced an immersive audio-visual installation that delves deeply into her personal heritage. Lineage for a Phantom Zone conjures a dream of memories
that Perry wishes her family could have, seeking to understand how the unconscious fills the void of missing histories.
Designation: Technical Expert
Educational Qualifications:
- B.E. Mechanical / Master of Engineering / Master of Technology in design with 6-8 years of experience.
- Knowledge about engine subsystems.
- Good understanding of GD&T process.
- Should have strong understanding of mechanical engineering / Manufacturing processes like casting, machining, die and pattern etc.
- Understanding of engine BOM.
- Experience in casting dominant parts like cylinder head, crankcase, flywheel housing etc.
- Knowledge of modern 3D- CAD-systems, preferably Pro Engineer/CREO.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Knowledge of EDM/PLM systems, preferably Windchill

Job Description :
- Co ordinating the localization activities for different parts from different commodities with supplier, procurement and technical experts.
- Provide component design solutions at pace, which meets customer, design and regulatory requirements whilst managing the balance of key product attributes of cost, performance and delivery.
- Drive the technical discussions for localization/development of the parts.
- Participate in cross functional meetings, suggest solutions.
- Should do data mining for finding the facts which will impact the timeline, cost or quality.
- Understand the bottlenecks from quality and manufacturing and try to find the right way to proceed.
- Make the risk analysis wherever applicable.
- Study DVP and recommend the changes required to bring more clarity on validation of the part, and suggest to optimize the same.
