Middle Management – Industrial Design
Location Chennai, Tamil Nadu,
Job Purpose
The Middle Management-Industrial Design will be influential in all stages of the development of new motorcycles and their accessories, from research and concept creation in 2D through to 3D surface development and supporting the Engineering team into production.
The incumbent will provide creative solutions whilst adhering to brand strategy, packaging, ergonomic and time constraints.
He/ she will communicate proposals visually through sketches & 3D models and collaborate with other teams to ensure design intent is followed through, both in the vehicle production as well as in supporting on-bike accessory creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide design support to product strategy for product development and all research related activities in order to preserve design intent through the development process
- Devise practical, innovative and exciting Industrial Design proposals for electric vehicle
- Provide Industrial Design support to various projects across the departments to ensure the brand philosophy and design hygiene is constant for all the stakeholders and users to experience whilst improving quality of Royal Enfield products to match the customer expectations
- Provide 2D and 3D drawings and packages OTIF in relation to specific project deliverables and manage styling, modelling and CAS activities
- Create an ideation sketch based on product characteristics defined in the design brief by working with the product strategy team
Education
Bachelor / Master degree (Transportation or Industrial Design)
Experience
- 4+ years in product design in the motorcycle industry
- Experience in an Automotive OEM or Independent Studio working with OEMs
- Strong sketching/ rendering skills, proficient in Photoshop.
- 3D skills in Alias and/ or Rhino3D
Area Manager – Service
Location Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu
Job Purpose
Area Manager – Service is responsible for the dealer service performance in the region and will lead the implementation of various service processes. The incumbent will provide guidance on overall business operations, identify areas for improvements and support the implementation of new projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Create customer engagement plans based on market behavior and competition targeting areas where the potential is high and the turnaround of customer is less
- Responsible for Increase of After Sales Service and thereby increased customer market share
- Responsible for workshop loading and achieving defined targets by number of job orders and service volumes
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- 7+ years of experience in a similar role
- Extensive service marketing experience
- Knowledge of dealer service/ parts operations
- Territory and dealer management experience
