R & D – CAE ENGINEER

1. Understanding the scope of simulation requirements right from RFQ to Awarded programs.
2. Understanding of customer SOR, SMIL FEA Input sheet, model boundary condition.
3. Responsible to develop FE model from the given CAD model for each Exhaust system Hot end and Cold end programs.
4. To perform weld, rigid, bolt connections based on the understanding of design, CBOM. Updating of material properties, application of loads and boundary condition.
5. Responsible to perform Linear & Non-linear analysis such as Modal, Static, Frequency response, Transient response and fatigue calculations.
6. Responsible to perform CHT mapping, Heat transfer and Thermo-mechanical analysis.
7. Ensure FE model with derived quality parameter requirements, follow checklist.
8. Internal review with Asst Manager/ Dy.Manager for the completed model to verify the model and boundary condition before submitting analysis run.
9. Post processing of simulation results and report update for each programs based on the standard template.
10. Discussion with superiors for analysis results and proceed for further iteration if requested.
11. Ensure simulation report with quality and on-time delivery for each assigned programs.
12. Understanding of products related to all types of applications like LV,CV,Tractor, Genset and industrial exhaust system components according to emission regulation.
13. Continuous knowledge development about new and advanced simulation methodologies, process improvement, simplified process for repeated Pre-processing task.
Attending training on advanced simulation procedures and usage of the same while working on projects
