Designation:
- BE/DME in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years experience in the maintenance department.
- Experience in the steel service center, CTL, Slitter, and EOT Cranes have added advantages.
- Trouble shooting Hydraulic and Pneumatic line circuits
- Knowledge of MS office & ERP systems.

Job Description :
- Independently handling and controlling the shift activities.
- Responsible for breakdown, preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Maintain the spare parts inventory and Raise PR through SAP
- To improve product quality, efficiency, and safety through kaizen activities.
- Overall responsibility for Machine Maintenance, Repair, Modification, 5S, and Safety.
- Knowledge in preparing & maintaining ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 documents
Critical Responsiblities
- Plan daily maintenance activities, make ensure that all-time availability machine for production.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of various machinery such as CTL, NCTL, Slitter, Blanking line, cranes, and utilities (Compressor, DG, STP).
- Reduce the machine breakdowns by doing root cause analysis, corrective action, and implementing & regular follow-up, and monitoring the effectiveness.
- Preventive and predictive maintenance of all machines as per PM schedule and maintain the records
- Vendor development
- Indigenous of spares and consumables
- Responsible for maintaining a high degree of quality in all operations.
- Maintain the spare parts inventory and make ensure all spares parts are available at a minimum level
- Study of technical drawings (2D&3D) and machine parts to be drawn manually/excel.
- Actively involved in kaizen activities to improve quality, productivity, and safety.
- Actively involved in cost-saving activities.
- To maintain and regular updating of ISO and IATF documentation work.
- Coordination with all interfacing departments for the smooth running of production.
- To improve the skill set of subordinates through training and development.
- Work towards zero defect, zero breakdowns and zero breakdown.
- Responsible for 6S (5S+safey) at shop floor.
