Job Description :
Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies
Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure
Invent negotiation strategies and secure profitable deals
Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency
Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers
Cooperate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes
Have a good understanding of nutrition and fundamental food regulatory requirements in foods and dietary supplements.
Be cognizant of Raw Material information, Formulas, Claims and Substantiation, and Labels and Marketing Material.
Requirements
Proven work experience in Sourcing or similar role
Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
Preferable Master of Science degree, in food/nutritional science or biochemistry
Knowledge and interest in nutritional ingredients, food, beverage and nutraceuticals
Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) regulations and Current Good Manufacturing Practices
