Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for a Steering Systems Lead Engineer role to be based at our office in Warwick.
Our Engineering Research and Development department (ER&D) is a fast-growing function within Tata Technologies Limited that is assembled to work on exciting projects globally for multiple customers. It comprises highly specialized engineers across Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial Heavy Machinery.
THE ROLE
The successful applicant for this position will join our Chassis Control System Team and will be responsible for complete delivery of the associated steering systems within the lateral control sub group; EPAS (Column and belt drive) RWS, and the integrated controllers, Electronically adjustable steering columns. You will work closely with the Steering Controls Systems Engineer and the foundation hardware team, to deliver a complete Steering system fully integrated into vehicle and associated manufacturing plant, whilst contributing to the success of best in class ADAS performance.
We require experienced Lead Engineers from an automotive background, preferable within the Electric Vehicle domain. You will have a strong knowledge of component delivery from concept to mass production, HW design and ECU components incl their associated sensor array. An excellent communicator to manage and maintain diverse relationships with suppliers across the world.
The role will be mostly remote with occasional time spent onsite in Lamington Spa and Vietnam.
