Job Description :
- Have Experience with validation of electro-mechanical systems, especially for Pantographs and Couplers
- should Working knowledge of locomotives applications
- must Type testing of the Pantograph and Coupler for NPD.
- Support manufacturing for FAI & testing (Serial tests, Prototype development, intermediate checks/ tests
- Co-ordinating with test labs
- Documentation work for Material Movement
- Exploring new test facilities to optimize testing cost.
- Documentation work to develop parts & Fixtures
- Getting tools and measuring instruments calibrated.
- Support for Line tests for Pantograph and Couplers
- Analyzing the validation requirements
- Estimating testing cost and Man hour time
- Estimating NRC requirement for validation
OTHERS ACTIVITIES :
- Should Analyzing field issues, work on RCA which will involve testing & work with RAMS (failure rates, fault tree analysis)
- Supporting CS team for the first installation and field testing.
- Work on Specific type test based on the customer requirement
- Maintaining Lab testing equipment and upgrading the test facility.
- Part of the Clause by clause discussions related to type testing queries.
- Responsible for maintaining WIM/ REX
- Strong understanding of codes & standards
- Domain Expertise bridging numerical validation and Experimental validation
- Strong understanding of test execution, requirements traceability, defect reporting, Demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to influence stakeholders, solve problems, and deliver results • Effective verbal & written communicator
- Strong collaboration with CFT/Customers
