Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI), headquartered in Bengaluru, India, was founded in 1996 as a captive unit to support Daimler\u2019s research, IT and product development activities. We started with a focus on topics ranging from CAD, CAE and IT programming for all of the group\u2019s business units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, we have moved up in value to cater to advanced topics in vehicle engineering and IT technologies.\u00a0We are now responsible for new methods in Design\u00a0and CAE, software content for control units, head units and various critical engineering tools. Important components of digital dependencies on overall product development, is located now at MBRDI.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The satellite office in Pune specialises in interior component designs and IT engineering. The establishment of MBRDI is in line with the Daimler group\u2019s ambition to attract the world\u2019s best engineering talent and form a global footprint for its R&D and IT competencies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

MBRDI also aims to partner closely with suppliers in India for its activities in product development and IT services. We are now one of the largest development centers outside of Germany, employing over 5000 skilled engineers aside from being an integral part of all business units and brands of Daimler worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Position :Analysis engineer<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualification :BE\/ B.Tech or ME\/M.Tech in Automotive\/Mechanical engineering<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Experience :No of Years:2-3\u00a0year of experience in CAE-Strength & Durability, Automotive<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Job Description :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Pre and Post processing using Hyper works, ANSA & Medina.<\/li>
2. Use Finite Element Analysis software such as NX Nastran, Abaqus, and Permas in the analysis of product design.<\/li>
3. Apply computer aided engineering (CAE) principles to evaluate Strength & Stiffness analysis (Linear & Non-linear) of moderately complex full vehicles, systems and components.<\/li>
4. Generate, document the results and propose recommendations to design teams for improvements to achieve product targets.<\/li>
5. Provide design concepts for improvement in strength and stiffness aspects of the components\/Sub-structures using expert level of understanding.<\/li>
6. Independently work and implement projects on time line.<\/li>
7. Understanding requirements, planning, scheduling & effort estimation for the projects.<\/li>
8. Coordinate with Design Engineering and other departments in the product development.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

   Other requirements :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   1. Good teamwork skills, strong verbal & written skills.<\/li>
   2. Experience with FEA software\u2019s such as NX Nastran, Abaqus, ANSA, Permas, and\/or Medina.<\/li>
   3. Experience in Static & dynamic analysis to structural designs required.<\/li>
   4. Noticing and solving the root cause of engineering problems.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
