3D CAD Designer For Chennai Location
Required Skill
- Having experience in UG NX 3D routing
- Problem Analysis and solving skills
- Ability to generate 3D routing proposals with provided inputs from customer
- Experience of W/H design & development with 3D routing
- UG NX software Knowledge is must with Teamcenter
- Awareness of W/H manufacturing processes
- VA/VE, Ability to strategies, plan and execute
- Good communication skills & team building ability
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and maintenance of 3D CAD model.
- Accept and work on design request by DRE, communicate work status and request clarification.
- Wiring Assembly owner responsible to maintain vehicle tree in teamcenter.
- Implement CCD changes in 3D master.
- Fill design request checklist for every work-order.
- Perform design sweep on existing or new design wiring assembly.
- 3D master and 2D master release in teamcenter for each harness family CCD.
- Perform Model to model comparison and submit report to DRE.
- Model to print (3D to 2D) comparison and submit mark-up report to DRE.
- Work on Splice and clearance study for requested model.
- Work on new design study and implement in upcoming model release.
- New component update request in team center library or iSPEED.
- Share compute report with DRE for each model, release model after approval.
- Support DRE and customer with Vehicle environment and Wiring assembly CAD snaps.
Suggest cost saving ideas and participate in Value Analysis Value Engineering (VAVE) activity.

Designation: Design Release Engineer (DRE) For Chennai Location
Required Skill
- Having experience in UG NX 3D routing & XC 2D drawings
- Problem Analysis and solving skills
- Basic knowledge of circuit schematics
- Experience of W/H design & development with 3D routing
- UG NX software Knowledge with Teamcenter
- Awareness of W/H manufacturing processes
- VA/VE, Ability to strategies, plan and execute
- Good communication skills & team building ability
- Having experience as XC 2D WH designer.
- Design review capabilities
Roles and Responsibility
- Responsible to ensure parts match the models (Model is Master)
- Responsible to ensure CCD/CNs/IAA’s/PER’s are clearly written and meet all requirements for each release
- Confirm / understand / validate the change is necessary for the vehicle
- Participate/Conduct FPSO (first piece sign off) and support FPSO activity with SQ
- Responsible for eCIMS ownership / root cause / corrective action
- Support launch activity at the assembly plant
- Support vehicle/component DFMEA / DVP (ensure CC) / FO / Design Rule activity
- Active engagement in packaging meetings (ACE)
- Responsible for supporting PDP – ensure notification to FCA DRE / DL of changes
- Update / maintain FASTCAR (weight, )
- Manage 2D drawings, 3D to 2D comparison
