Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Job Vacancy in Canada | Abroad Job Vacancy
About your next Challenge as a job title (male and female):
Reporting to the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Lead, the AME (“M”) will perform work and be ready to sign a Maintenance Release for their work. The employee must possess an appropriately rated Transport Canada AME licence. The AME must possess acceptable levels of knowledge of the AMO and its Quality Program in order to sign a maintenance release for work done on aeronautical products. The AME must also have received an ACA Authorization.
What You Will Do:
Their duties include but are not limited to:
Performance of work, up to and including certification with approved processes.
Reporting any un-airworthy conditions discovered (including Service Difficulties).
Utilizing certified/calibrated standard measuring and test equipment.
Familiarization with L3 MAS Policies and Processes.
Marshalling, fueling and towing of aircraft.
Maintaining a clean work area
Participating in the Safety Management System Program Committee on Aircraft, if requested.
Required Skills and Experiences:
You must hold an AME M licence and have qualifications on heavy aircraft in the following areas:
Interface between the engine and the airframe, environmental control, electrical and hydraulic systems, fuel systems, and flight control systems.
