Job Description :

VAVE Engineer is responsible for identifying opportunities to reduce the product‘s cost with competitor benchmarking and other value engineering/analysis (VA/VE) tools. Lead idea generation workshops (IGW) & validate the technical ideas. Support the core team to initiate Change Control & Implementation.
Job Responsibilities :
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Collection of Relevant data for start-up off Validation of concepts
- Study of current design parameters in the product
- Initial Validation the Concept proposed.
- Innovative ideas exploration that could add value to the current product
- Design and 3D model of the concept
- Validation of design (Simulation, Prototype, Testing)
- Collaboration with other stake holder (Costing Engineer, MT, Product Manager, Product Engineer, SQE,Lab, Procurement)
- Business case Development (Overview on Variable cost, Capex, Manufacturing process, Projected savings)
- Design calculation. Make detailed Part drawing, and Assembly drawings, BOMS, design specification sheets and process improvements
- Knowledge of ISO/IATF 16949 quality systems / audits / tools
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or advanced course work in areas relevant to product development is required.
- 5+ years of experience working with VAVE
- Product related knowledge
- Sound engineering practices & following safety standards

Engineer – Inspection & Testing
Job Description :
Danfoss is looking for a motivated candidate, who will support the Testing team with VFD panel experience across diversified stakeholders.
- Should be aware about IEC and other related testing standards.,
- Strong knowledge in various components used in VFD Panels, PCC, MCC also field instrument (Switchgears, NMPR, PLC etc..)
- Cross functional awareness required between internal stake holders, Customer & Vendor
- Ensure quality systems and standards are in place and make sure they are followed
- VFD Panel quality improvements in production to ensure stable output and reduce scrap and rework
- Supporting the team for testing VFD Panels based on the approved drawings.
- Support team to understand the electrical circuits and mechanical fabrications drawings.
- Prepare & ensure the test reports and all customer submittal are right in quality.
- Ensure the observations/correction found during the inspection has communicated to relevant stake holders for further improvement & records
- Ensure the receipt of Panel at Danfoss Shop floor before the Customer inspection after the completion of all Quality points observed during the inspection at Vendor works.
- Supporting Vendor to get the VFD Panel inside Danfoss shop floor to complete the procedure of Internal stake holders
- Engineering graduate in electrical & electronics with 5-8 years experience in VFD industry
- Knowledge in Panel quality inspection and wiring – Mechanical & Electrical inspection
- Control logics testing and trouble shooting
- Lead Customer complaint and supplier quality CAPA handling with right stake holders in team
- Excellent communication skills to handle customer inspection
- Experience in handling consultants requirements EIL, NTPC etc
- Work with supplier to meet quality delivery and develop them
- Awareness of ISO 9001 is mandatory & IATF 16949 is an added advantage
- Proficiency in English, Tamizh, Hindi (added advantage)
- Monthly/weekly metrics reporting on quality issues and data analysis, Project Status
- Need to be a team player and voluntary support to team success
- Weekend participation to complete the projects and delivery on time without hesitance if required
- Take ownership and work towards customer centric and deliverables.
