Designation:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Automobile, Industrial.) required.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in shop floor in manufacturing industries.
- Ability to work in shifts
- Must be able to work hands on in the shop floor in an unionized environment
- Working knowledge of ISO is essential, Lean Manufacturing,
- Working Knowledge of Pneumatic control, Fixture Design, Drawing and Design standards.
- Managerial skill and ability to work independently with people at all levels.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, decision making and troubleshooting skills.
- Well versed with Microsoft Office and ERP production software.
- Ability to perform under stress & Strong work ethics.
Qualification required – B.E(Mech/Production/Automobile/Industrial)
Experience required – 5 to 6 years in production (Values & Controls Industries)
Job Location – Mahindra World City, Chengalpattu.

Job Description :
We #Emerson hiring Production Engineer – Preferred from Values & Controls Industries.
Preferred #Female Engineer who aspire for a progressive and rewarding career. Weekly 5 days work pattern with excellent work atmosphere and facilities.
1. Lead by example, ensuring a safe and efficient workplace is always maintained, strict adherence to safety guidelines, oversee safe use of equipment’s and validate Job safety analysis (JSA)
2. Plan and allocate the load to work force, monitor the productivity and quality and maintain the daily log reports, ability to train the work force and lead the team.
3. Ensuring compliance with procedures, operating instructions, and work instructions.
4. Ability to develop and improve the visual control system in shop floor and follow 5S practice and guide the employees to maintain clean and organized workplace.
5. Required strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to handle day to day shop floor concerns. Identify and eliminate the root cause and sustain the corrective action to eliminate repeated issues.
6. Contribute to improve production efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, Improvement of working procedures, developing the skillset of workforce, Implement Poka-yoke (error proofing) system, contribute to continuous improvement activities, Generating Kaizens and Safety improvement opportunities.
7. Motivate and communicate with the teams by utilizing the visual management, delivering shift briefs with focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost and gathering ideas and suggestion.

1. Meeting production, productivity and delivery targets
2. Ability to sustain and develop team working and team-based problem solving
3. Ability to build effective relationships with work colleagues
4. Ready to take challenging / new task and willing to work in shifts
