Job Description :
1. To do a Logistics Network Study based on BOM and identify the required Ocean Lane Setup
2. Create VSM and align SCM and all stakeholders
3. Co-ordinate with Purchasing to ensure the Ocean Lane Contract In place within the defined timeline
3. Ensure Trading Company Setup within the defined Timeline
4. Continuously Monitor and Evaluate the Performance of Ocean and Air Carriers
5. Identify and Implement Cost Reduction Ideas
7. Ensure all Inbound Logistics Launch Metrics Targets are achieved
8. Co-ordinate with SCM in resolving Shipment Delay issues due to Ocean and Air Carriers
9. Ensure Optimum In Transit Inventory by having a well-defined and aligned VSM for Ocean Lane
Prior experience in logistics/supply chain. Should have exposure and knowledge of current ford logistics business and network designs. Problem solving capability and ability to generate cost reduction ideas in logistics function.
