Role Summary:-
Welding Process Engineer / Sr Engineer
Key Responsibilities:-
1. Should be responsible for Scheduling and execution of a BIW assy Program from RFQ to Launch
2. Prepare RFQ for the BIW Jigs and Process development
3. Process analysis including layout, cycle time, welding spot/seams distribution.
4. Fixture Concept finalisation as per the proposal and coordination with the line builder for DAP
5. Manufacturing and Development Follow up with Line builder
6. Prebuyoff Process along with CFT in Line builder end
7. Inhouse installation / Layout/utilities preparation

Role Summary
Manage and direct all logistics staff. Perform and record dictated incoming inspections on all incoming materials and distribute goods to the ordering department or move to appropriate storage locations using the FIFO storage method.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to safely drive a forklift to unload and load trucks/move products from one location to another.
- Ability to set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with the company’s plans and vision.
- Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all equipment and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action
- Maintain timekeeping and personnel records
- Prepare performance and KPI reports
- Ability to interview, Hire and train new employees
- Good computer skills in order to learn various activities in Penta:
- Create bills of ladings for customer shipments
- Send ASNs for shipments made.
- Check inventory accuracy
- Learn JIT shipping activities
- Excellent daily attendance is required.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred and in a shipping/receiving department is a plus.
- Capable of accurate cycle counting.
- Ability to learn all shipping processes to ensure timely, accurate shipments to customer
- Must be able to effectively communicate both with internal manufacturing departments and with external customers regarding parts needed for shipment.
- Must be able to drive the company-leased straight truck to deliver critically needed parts to customers.
- Basic math skills are required.
Education & Experience
• HS Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Current forklift certification for GSC or a minimum of 1-year forklift experience.
• Computer experience using Micro-Soft Office products
Key Qualifications/Requirements
• Experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment
• Self-Motivated
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 2 years in shipping/receiving in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Automotive experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Supervision, Coaching, Managing Processes, Process Improvement, Tracking Budget Expenses, Production Planning, Strategic Planning, Dealing with Complexity, Financial Planning and Strategy, Automotive Manufacturing experience preferred
