Job Description :
Conduct supplier validation audits with the assistance of the supplier and with the supplier’s advanced product quality planning (APQP).
Define process parameters and criteria with the engineering team (design and manufacturing engineers) to make sure supplier process capability is efficient to meet product and process requirements.
Assessing manufacturing/technology capabilities and Health, Safety, and Environmental hazards will help you lead the supplier clearance process.
In order to verify that supplier quality meets the necessary criteria, support the launch of new products.
Follow up with suppliers to determine the core cause of supplier quality issues and take corrective action.
Perform on-site supplier visits to determine the underlying causes of supplier quality concerns and to confirm the effectiveness of corrective measures
Examine the manufacturing procedures of suppliers, and work together with them to identify potential for process improvement and value addition.
