Job Description :

Execute standardization activities together with standardization lead for certain Electrical and Electronics module and sub-modules.
• Execute strategy roadmap and projects within Electrical area.
• Identify opportunities for standardization together with Standardization lead and stakeholders from across the value chain to reduce complexity and improve flexibility.
• Work in close co-operation with Standardization lead/ Specialist and/or the Project Manager to set up initiatives and for planning the steps to achieve Standardization targets.
• Execute projects & improvement initiatives to achieve on time and high quality of key deliverables like Standard Design Catalogue & rules and design library, guidelines and standardization targets.

Competencies:
Need to Have:
• Good knowledge in global Industry Electrical standards (IEC standards, etc.,), approvals and practices.
• Experienced in general Electrical and Electronics Engineering (e.g. medium and high voltage).
• Good knowledge in Electrical components like control panels, cable, lighting, power supply, UPS, Enclosure and boxes.
• Good knowledge in Electronics components and accessories.
• Extensive technical understanding of Electrical and Electronics component specifications (Technical specification, drawings, etc.,)
• Good technical understanding of supplier catalogues parts and industry standard parts (off-the-shelf components).
• Good analytical, problem solving and technical decision-making skills.
• Should be self-driven, proactive, and systematic.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice to Have:
• Hands-on experience in standardization methodology and successful implementation of standardization from other industries (e.g. Automotive industries)
• Good project/task management experience.
• Basic Knowledge about Reference Designation Systems (RDS).
• Basic skills on Tools and process (SAP, PLM, CAD and understanding Electrical layouts)
