Designation: Senior Engineer
1) Preferred to have experience in automotive Air Intake, Exhaust and DEF System’s design and development.
2) CAD modelling skills in CATIA , which is must
3) Knowledge of DFMEA/DVP/DFM/DFA/DFS, GD&T
4) knowledge of critical design/functional requirements of powertrain and other interfacing vehicle systems
5) Basic knowledge on FEA,CFD and NVH tools/techniques required to optimize Intake, Exhaust and DEF systems.
6) Basic knowledge of Noise, Vibration, Fluid Dynamics, Turbo-machinery, Strength of Materials, Fatigue, Material Sc.
7) Knowledge of manufacturing processes (blow moulding, injection moulding, extrusion, plastic welding;Sheet metal working, welding,Prototype Techniques
8) Knowledge of DVP’s and basics of equipment/instrumentation used for system evaluation/verification
9) Knowledge of System Development Tests and basics of instrumentation used
10) Knowledge of basics of cost drivers to enable system optimization

Job Description :
1) Design and development of Air Intake, Exhaust and DEF Systems
2) Developing system design concepts to meet functional, durability and performance requirements.
3) Liaising with vehicle integration and other interfacing system teams to ensure system integration in vehicle package.
4) Learning and performing preliminary GT-power/1-d simulations to evaluate concept designs.
5) Working along with potential suppliers and CDMM to ensure SOR, TSO and VOB.
6) Working with suppliers, validation and CAE team to ensure durability of system designs.
7) Working with suppliers, Engine calibration team and CFD to ensure system designs meet engine performance targets.
8) Working along with suppliers, Vehicle development team and NVH team to ensure systems meet noise targets and to ensure vehicle refinement.
9) Working along with validation and thermal team while designing heatshields to ensure thermal protection in vehicle.
10) Build, validation and serviceability concern resolution and preparation of 8D reports.
11) Carrying out DR’s, DFMEA with CFT
12) Working along with PCM team to ensure system designs meet the target cost.
13) Working along with CDMM team to ensure component development as per design intent.
