Job Description :
• Will be creating Tractor/System level FE models using software like ; Hypermesh/ Ansys workbench/ Simlab (either or all)
• Will be creating runnable deck in software like ; Nastran/Abaqus/Ansys/Optistruct decks (either or all)
• Will have to understand the model behaviour
• Will have to quickly execute design iterations to meet project timelines
• Will have to suggest modification to meet the durabilty requirement with collaboration with designers.
• Will have to do Fatigue analysis to calculate component life.
• Will have to make report in Ms Office for review and present the same to manager.
• Will have to optimise the structure using optimimization tool like Optistruct/Mode Frontier/ Gensis (either or all)
• “Basic Finite Element Analysis (FEA) knowledge & Strong Mechanical Engineering Fundamentals.
• Need to have basic knowledge of Stength of Material and Fatigue calculations.
• Competent in meshing and deck generation in Nastran/Abaqus/Ansys/Optistruct decks (either or all)
• Competent on the Durability Analysis –
Minimum requirement – Linear Static, Modal Analysis, Non-linear,
Preferred – Dynamic response analsysis, Explicit Analysis, Fatigue Analysis.
• Basic Knowledge of Manufacturing process, Material science and metallurgy
• Good knowledge of debugging in Nastran/Abaqus/Ansys/Optistruct decks (either or all)
• Awareness/experience of data acquisition, correlation and physical testing will be preferred
• Should be keen in presenting Paper in Technical forums and prefered if demonstrated the same in earlier companies
