Job Description :
The Senior Design engineer is responsible for the design and development of 2D & 3D models engineering for Mineral processing applications using AutoDesk Inventor
Experience in Design & engineering preferably in Mining, Bulk Material Handling, Heavy Engineering Domains
Excellent interpersonal communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate with International clients
Independently lead computer-aided design (CAD) for new and existing products.
Design using Autodesk Inventor to create new CAD models and detailed mechanical drawings.
Support the implementation of engineering change orders (ECO) using the Autodesk Professional Vault application
Ensure compliance with required design standards, design manuals, safety factors, geometric tolerancing, customer specifications, engineering specifications and marketing standards.
Evaluate tolerance stack-ups to insure proper fit of components and proper application of GD&T techniques.
Work closely with the Technical Manager to implement: i) elements of design for manufacturability (DFM); ii) design for assembly (DFA); and design for operation(DFO)
