About Company :
Kumar Industries was started as a Proprietary concern in 1981 at Strahans Road, Chennai by S.R.Arumugham,B.E,DIIT, after having worked as a Scientist at CVRDE, (DRDO) Avadi, Chennai. In 2001 the unit was shifted to Mogappair Industrial area, Chennai- 37, to expand further. In 2005 the second unit was started at Ayanambakkam, Chennai-95 with the change of constitution as Partnership Firm inducting A.Muthukumar after establishing a modern Press shop with the state of the art Mechanical and Hydraulic Power Presses. In 2008, the third unit was started at SIPCOT Industrial Estate, phase II, Hosur to expand further. We are one of the preferred suppliers to M/s Ashok Leyland Ltd, Ennore and M/s Wabco India Ltd,Ambattur for the past several years for supplying sheet metal pressed components.

Job Description :
Customer schedule wise Production planning & Material planning
Ø Control plans and operation standards/Verification of job set up
Ø Process validation
Ø Identifying & Traceability the customer Supplied products
Ø Responsible for Order Placement, Supply / Demand Alignment, Material Replenishment and Supplier Performance.
Ø Continuously monitoring, evaluating and improving supplier performance.
Ø Sourcing the most affordable materials for the company’s manufacturing process.
Ø Projecting stock levels.
Ø Monitoring delivery times to ensure they are on time.
Ø Ensuring the adequate supply of all required materials, components and equipment.
Ø Delivering cost savings for the company.
Ø Managing the procurement supplier relationships for the company.
Ø Developing sourcing strategies.
Ø Managing commodity cost initiatives.
Ø Working to create and promote a safe working environment.
Ø Easily adaptable with company situation and try to solve the problems.
