Job Description :

  • Ensure allocated tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Adhere to Design Standards, ensuring minimum requirements are met
  • Actively participate in project kick off meetings with key stakeholders for medium to large projects.
  • Develop & revise CAD models/drawings
  • Conduct analyses using hand calculations, FEA, MBD and DEM.
  • Review 3D scans, perform alignments, and conduct reverse engineering
  • Provide accurate forecasts as to task/project completion within Wrike and to the Planner
  • Aid the delivery of projects within CAPEX expenditure limits
  • Assist in designing inspection gauges and manufacturing jigs to support operations.
  • Assist in the development of Quality, Gauging and Procurement Specifications
  • Provide feedback and opportunities for improvement of CAD model and drafting checklists in line with internal NX standards.
  • Assist with product failure investigations ,Assist with creating technical presentation material for customers, sales and operations

Experience

  • Experience working in a collaborative design environment
  • Experience with FEA, CAD models and drawings

Skills and Knowledge

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Ability to read and understand standards and specifications
  • Proficient in design and analysis software such as NX
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to work with diverse teams to achieve high project output
  • Ability to develop, articulate and implement projects, procedures & standards globally
  • Ability to analyse data and trends and draw logical conclusions for Bradkens purposes

Prior to commencing employment, you will be required to complete a psychometric assessment and a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.
