Job Description :
- Ensure allocated tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Adhere to Design Standards, ensuring minimum requirements are met
- Actively participate in project kick off meetings with key stakeholders for medium to large projects.
- Develop & revise CAD models/drawings
- Conduct analyses using hand calculations, FEA, MBD and DEM.
- Review 3D scans, perform alignments, and conduct reverse engineering
- Provide accurate forecasts as to task/project completion within Wrike and to the Planner
- Aid the delivery of projects within CAPEX expenditure limits
- Assist in designing inspection gauges and manufacturing jigs to support operations.
- Assist in the development of Quality, Gauging and Procurement Specifications
- Provide feedback and opportunities for improvement of CAD model and drafting checklists in line with internal NX standards.
- Assist with product failure investigations ,Assist with creating technical presentation material for customers, sales and operations
Experience
- Experience working in a collaborative design environment
- Experience with FEA, CAD models and drawings
Skills and Knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Ability to read and understand standards and specifications
- Proficient in design and analysis software such as NX
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
- Ability to work with diverse teams to achieve high project output
- Ability to develop, articulate and implement projects, procedures & standards globally
- Ability to analyse data and trends and draw logical conclusions for Bradkens purposes
Prior to commencing employment, you will be required to complete a psychometric assessment and a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.
