The business is responsible for the operation of Bradken’s foundries in Wundowie (Australia), Mont Joli (Canada), Merlimau (Malaysia) and Coimbatore (India) as well as Bradken’s fabrication workshops in Bassendean (Australia) and Edmonton (Canada).
Designation: Design Engineers
Educational Qualifications:
- Relevant Degree in Engineering in Mechanical or similar stream
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the Mining or Heavy Fabrication Industry
- Knowledge of mineral processing & material handling equipment and processes highly regarded.
- Advance scanning post treatment skills using Polyworks and / or Geomagic manipulating larger 3D point cloud data.
- Proficient in 3D CAD with Unigraphics NX or similar package with Teamcenter experience would be an advantage.
- Advanced computing skills in MS Office suite, ability to create MS Excel macros and coding are desirable.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal)

Job Description :
Based at our Coimbatore site, we are looking for Muiltple experienced Design Engineers for our Mineral Processing team. You will provide design, development and engineering services to manufacturing and sales.
As a highly skilled engineer in Product Design and Engineering, you will develop 3D laser scanning Wear Reporting capabilities for Bradken to ensure world’s best practice in support of product design programs and product wear reporting.
As our technical support expert, you will provide 3D laser scanning / software to regional Product Development groups, manufacturing and Regional Sales Managers in product application and service offerings.
With excellent attention to detail and regard to compliance, you will work within the Bradken Operating procedures, Work instructions, and User guides to develop 3D laser scan Wear Reports and technical documents to an agreed quality, time and cost.
As a problem solver enthusiastic to find innovative solutions for our customers, you will assist with product failure investigations and provide feedback and opportunities for improvement of wear reporting functions in line with our standards.
With your customer focus and ability to understand their needs, you will provide quality solutions within a short turnaround of time frames.
