Job Description :
The “red card” process is used to find products that don’t meet standards.
Handing out and collecting PDEK and other control charts, such as RFT charts, torque check sheets, and PDEK.
Feedback to line and to WPA for all nonconformities found on the assembly line (such as electrical test, clip test, inspection points, care points, etc.) by using the stop at first defect process.
Application of 5S and housekeeping in the area
Finds places where the product is at risk (e.g., parts on the floor, broken or bent terminals in holders or stands, mixed components, etc.).
Makes sure operators are qualified to work on the station according to the skills matrix
Makes sure that the “OK to Start” procedure is followed at the beginning of each shift.
Takes part in meetings of the line QRQC (lead by Shift Leaders)
Fills out the QRAP that the shift leader has made.
Helps with the analysis of problems (reproduction of defects, immediate and corrective actions)
Checks for error-proofing conformity in the assembly area, using tools like good-bad sample test release, poka-yoke, jigs, etc.
Makes sure the assembly aid tools are there, in good shape, and have been used (e.g. Convolute and corrugated tube aids, pvc tube aids etc)
